Vertical Form Fill Seal (FFS) machines are generally intended for “unsorted” food products such as liquids, granular products, powders or small pieces that can be handled by pumps or pneumatic systems. The typical form of packaging that can be achieved is the so-called pillow-pouch, but the plant allows for three- or four-seal pouches.
